This project consisted of renovating an existing basement in a 1912 Portland Historic home. The basement was completely gutted and all plumbing, electrical and heating systems were re-worked and replaced to meet current codes. New custom cabinets and stained concrete floors were added.
All new woodwork was custom-milled to match existing woodwork. The walls were all finished with genuine plaster and the radius walls that surround the spiral stair case were all rebuilt to allow for a new set of spiral stairs. In addition, a new laundry room, bathroom, living room and craft area were added as well.
